Brave design for a humble air curtain.

Preventing heat loss is as important as generating it from sustainable sources. Flowair, the Polish leader in the European HVAC industry, approached Aleto to explore a new design language for air curtains, typically devices that go unnoticed by visitors. After deep analysis and concept exploration, we proposed eye-catching designs that are modern and intriguing due to the weaved frontal inlet surfaces. Although it was a conceptual exploration, we considered manufacturability from day one. Despite the design appearing complex, it is achieved with just two stamp-pressed parts that are repeated along the length of the devices, making it easy to produce.
